Work still goes on the site, but we're getting close to full functionality. But I need something else.

As the very first contributers to G|R|A I could use some input.

I'd like your ideas on some promotional contests. Whatever you can think of would be great.

Here are some of mine:

"Name the song/secret word and win *prize* - All you need to do is register on the forums to find a block of time and listen for the prize"

"Register to be a DJ and during the contest period, have the highest number of concurrent listeners and win *prize*.

Let me know what you think and post in this thread.

Okey I'll try and come up with some, but first to comment on your 2.

I myself is against the whole thing with loads of unserious DJs playing some songs till the contest is over or just when they feel like it. But that is only my oppinion.

Moving on; it is easy to have just simple things if there is ways to register it fx:

Register on the forum and write X posts (none spam) (random person wins of the once over X posts)

Use our sig on the GA forum(even tho the forums are pretty dead sadly :/ (random person wins)

Listen to the stream for a secret message which should be sent to a certain email. This message could be sent anytime any hour any day so that they really have to listen to the stream to get it and not just on a specifik time slot. (first person to write or random person)

Request a song with dedication to a certain person (the person who gets the most dedications win). This might be hard to keep track on tho but atleast we have an IP check on the emails so they can't spam to get lot of votes for themselves.

Create a:

Song for the radio, this can be a singing, techno, theme song or anything.

Any kind of art this also include written art (poetry, signature, a painting or what ever.)

An advertisement of some sort that we can play on the radio station.

Yeah I def don't want to see people just signing up to DJ then leaving. I'm going to ask around to some fellow internet radio running friends and see if they have any ideas. In the past a lot of them have given away shirts to promote their show... but we don't really have a listener base as of now. I think first tings first, get a schedule and a calendar on the front page of the site, then people can start listening to the DJ's they like consistently. A fan base would start to build then the contests would work a lot better?

everyone who connects to my agency's site is now a listener, i added a link on the main page.

the idea with the song creating is not bad, maybe there is any way we can link the radio to the BFH site or fansite´s but i dont know if that would be work.

btw i got a Hardstyle RMX over here , its just a remix so not "my own music"^^
